Contract & Volunteer Application
Graduate and Undergraduate students at universities and colleges in Columbia, MO are a huge resource for the Academic Support and Enrichment Program at Grade A Plus. Some students join through their enrollment in Service Learning or Field Experience courses, others join as a member of a sorority, fraternity, or student organization, and others still join as individual students seeking to get involved with the local community. Opportunities for High School students is also available through participation in the in the A+ programs available through local high school counselor services.
College students majoring in the fields of education, mathematics, human development, and business have joined the Volunteer Team as 1:1 academic tutors, MathUp! tutors, enrichment leaders, youth mentors, and marketing team members. We ask that volunteers commit to at least one session per week and we expect them to build positive relationships and connections with the children and the families enrolled in the program.
