What is IXCel?

IXCel is a powerful assessment and learning tool used at Grade A Plus (GAP) to identify exactly where each student needs support—or where they are ready to be challenged. Every GAP student begins the year with IXCel testing in math and reading.
The results provide a detailed snapshot of skill levels, ensuring that no student slips through the cracks and every learner is met right where they are.
How IXCel works at GAP​

Using IXCel, GAP tutors and staff can:

Target Remediation – Students needing extra support receive custom booklets aligned to their skills.

Challenge Advanced Learners – Students performing above grade level are placed in the Rigor Group, where they engage with higher-level challenge activities.

Guide Tutor Time Effectively – Tutors know exactly which skills to focus on during sessions, making every minute count.
