COMOGIVES

Grade A Plus is participating in the annual CoMoGives fundraiser for non-profit organizations this year. This online giving campaign runs during the month of December and is coordinated by the Community Foundation of Central Missouri with support from local businesses.

Grade A Plus supports Columbia youth through tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment activities. With a focus on STREAM learning, positive behaviors of growth mindset are at the core of guiding youth to develop communication and problem-solving skills. All children can learn to do well when given support, encouragement and confidence.

Last year's generous donations of over $5000 supplemented more than 2000 hours of academic support, development, and enrichment services to dozens of Columbia's youth, resulting in increased confidence in students and a smoother transition between in-person and online learning.

With a return to in-person learning, the ask of the program has increased beyond what support staff can meet. Unfortunately, families seeking support have been placed on a waitlist. This year Grade A Plus is looking to raise a minimum of $10,000 to increase capacity and continue to provide quality academic and enrichment services.
